Great article! I like how simple you describe it and in nowadays people seem to use internet more than ever. I would love to have my own blog, do you know if there are any fees? Perhaps a website hosting fee? I would also like you to ask if there are any possibilities to earn money from a blog. Thank you for your post and I am looking forward for your answers!

    Hi Moon,
This is a nice post on creating a blog I enjoyed reading it.
I think what puts a lot of people off creating blogs and websites is fear because they think they need to be computer wiz kids or coding experts.
As you correctly pointed out in your post, nothing could be further from the truth with WordPress.
It is so much easier to create webpages these days with WordPress and all it’s plug ins and features, and with the info in this post you’ve just made it even easier!
    Good stuff,
    Cheers,
    Paul

      Hi Paul,

WordPress is a very robust platform with the opensource concept. There are lots of cool features and tons of plugins to choose from. They certainly go a long way in making our websites look professional and beautiful.

The hardest part is to choose a theme that suits your blog style. I have been searching and trying a lot of themes. Still haven’t found the one that I really like. I think I need to hire a website designer later.

LOL, you must have high standards! One thing to note is that, before changing themes it’s best to do a backup of your site in case you lose important contents. Also I find that changing themes will affect the outward appearance of posts with picture, as sometimes the frame doesn’t fit, so be cautious.

I like how you have set out the method of creating a blog so clearly. WordPress is so easy to use and don’t even require any coding or technical knowledge. I find that the difficulty for me is that there are too many themes to choose from, so it takes me a fair bit of time to go through them all!

Yes, we are spoilt for choice with the WordPress themes. It would also be good to spend some time browsing around and choose the one theme that works best for you. Although themes can be changed later, some of your layouts in your website might need some adjustments.

Very easy and simple process. I wish I had this guide when I built my first site. Any specific themes that you like or prefer for beginners for simplicity and ease of customization?
